Contact Us| Apple will soon launch new model of iMac it is learned. It is expected that the iMac will hit market next week some where around Tuesday with slightly new features from previous one. There will be no major changes like a completely new system from ground up. The desktop will feature Intel’s latest Penryn processors used by the MacBook and MacBook Pro and a larger hard drive. |  |
According to Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer the desktop is aimed at K-12 school systems as current quarter is a prime buying period for schools. A slightly faster and larger system–at around the current price point, might induce some to take the plunge.
Apple last updated iMac last August when it introduced a new design.
