Hacker’s website hacked by Turkish PM supporters

May 9th, 2008 by Kiyani ~ No Comments

A private NTV channel reported yesterday that the web site of the hacker, who hacked Turkish Prime Minister’s media center web site last week, has been hacked. (I know too many hack words!).

Website displayed the words R.T.E. which is an abbreviation used for the full name of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Following message was left on the website:

Your system is confiscated because you harm the sites of the state; you consider harming the country’s soil good; and you play ‘the hacker’ even though you cannot even protect yourself.

The web site of the Prime Ministry’s media center was hacked by a hacker named Karan who left a message saying:

Dear prime minister, since you don’t hear our voice, we will let you hear our voice this way. While there are many unemployed people, you still continue appointing imams. Maybe this country will be saved through prayers.

The hacker’s web site www.thekaran.org displays a map of Turkey and a picture of the Turkish flag on a red background alongside photographs of former prime ministers Adnan Menderes and Turgut Özal together with Erdoğan. Written on the map is “Lovers of Turkey” while Menderes and Özal are referred to as the sun.
