Microsoft has released the much awaited Windows Live Messenger for BlackBerry. It was reported by Intology in May 2008 that RIM in collaboration with Microsoft is planning to release Windows Live Messenger this summer.
The messenger is feature rich just like desktop version such as:
- Changing status
- Changing nick
- Ability to send file
- Grouping contacts
- Sending emoticons (just like desktop version)
- Saving message history
The messenger is available free of cost to all customers. It will compete head to head with other big players in the market like JiveTalk and IM+ that are one of the most widely used multi-messaging softwares on BlackBerry.
