According to a report by the Adult Internet Market Research Company (AIMRCo) the US$ 1200 tax rebate received by taxpayers in USA is finding its way to porn websites.

US congressmen reveal hacking from China

Two US congressmen Frank Wolf and Christopher Smith have revealed that their office computers were hacked by hackers from China.
According to the statement released four of Wolf’s Capitol Hill machines were compromised in August 2006.

31 year old beats 3 year old to death: worst case of abuse

Timothy Leonard Gordon Farmer, a 31 year old man from Australia has been sentenced to 10 years in jail after he was found guilty of bashing a 3 year old baby boy, Mason James Coughlan, to death in 2006.
The supreme court judge described injuries to the child as “almost beyond belief”.

Ten US airports to have see through body scanners

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in USA is going to install see through body scanners at ten busiest airports for security purpose. The scanner can see beneath clothing to detect weapons.
Although the machine operator cannot see the person’s face, and all images are instantly deleted, not everyone is in favour of this idea.

AP says Clinton all set to accept defeat; Clinton denies

Associated Press has reported that Hillary Clinton will accept defeat by admitting that Obama has the delegates to secure Democratic nomination effectively ending her bid to become first female president of USA.

Apple loses ground to BlackBerry and Palm in USA

International Data Corporation (IDC) in its report has stated that Apple iPhone has lost ground to RIM BlackBerry and Palm Centro in USA during the first quarter. It’s market share is now 19.2 percent down from 26.7 percent in fourth quarter last year.

US data center catches fire, 9000 servers down

UK government to close loophole exploited by pedophiles

According to UK’s Obscene Publications Act, possession of photos of child pornography is unlawful and the distribution or sale of such material is prohibited. But pedophiles get away with it by using computer technology to turn real photographs or videos of abuse into drawings or cartoons which are not covered by the legislation.
