Nintendo has beaten both Microsoft and Sony for number 1 spot in terms of console sales.
According to the figures released by NPD Group, a market research company, in June 08 Nintendo sold 666,000 units of its Wii console in North America bringing the total to 10.9 million within 19 months of its launch.
At second spot is Microsoft which has sold about 10.5 million units of the Xbox 360 in North America.
In terms of worldwide sales too Nintendo Wii is going very strong. It has sold about 24.5 million units compared to 19 million Micrososft XBox 360 and 12.81 million Sony PlayStation 3 according to figures till April 2008.
