Former AOL executives charged with $1 billion fraud by SEC

Eight former AOL Time Warner executives have been charged with fraud of $1 billion by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
They have been accused of collaborating on a scheme to report more than $1bn worth of non-existent advertising revenue to investors from 2000 to 2002.

Microsoft Yahoo talking again

Well, like people say “never say never”, Microsoft has sent another proposal to Yahoo for possible acquisition.
This time it would not involve the acquisition of all of Yahoo’s assets although Microsoft said it “reserves the right”‘ to reconsider its bid to acquire all of Yahoo.

Facebook under fire on breaking ad rules in UK

A UK charity organization Charity Action says that ads being displayed on Facebook are violating rules laid down by the Office of Fair Trading(OFT).
Adverts for loans and credit cards on Facebook are flouting advertising standards, according to a statement.

Yahoo and Microsoft talking?

It seems Microsoft-Yahoo deal is back on track as they both are engaged with each other over possible merger.
