31 year old beats 3 year old to death: worst case of abuse

Timothy Leonard Gordon Farmer, a 31 year old man from Australia has been sentenced to 10 years in jail after he was found guilty of bashing a 3 year old baby boy, Mason James Coughlan, to death in 2006.
The supreme court judge described injuries to the child as “almost beyond belief”.

Music piracy lands 25 year old New Yorker in jail

A US court has convicted Barry Gitarts, from Brooklyn, New York of music piracy who now faces a fine of $250,000 and five years in jail. He is 25 years old.

Court orders TorrentSpy to pay $100 million to studios

California federal judge Florence-Marie Cooper has ordered TorrentSpy to pay some $110 million in damages for infringing the copyright of thousands of films and TV shows through its BitTorrent search engine.

Google Viacom to battle in Supreme Court over YoutTube
