A survey by Evans Data, a market research company, has revealed that more developers prefer Windows XP over Windows Vista when it comes to developing applications.
They survey questioned 380 US software developers and found that just eight per cent are developing applications for Vista.

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates will show off latest research prototype called “TouchWall” at Microsoft CEO summit on Wednesday.
TouchWall refers to the touch screen hardware setup itself; the corresponding software to run TouchWall, which is built on a standard version of Vista, is called Plex.

Dell and Microsoft have join hands to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. According to Microsoft website for every Dell PC with Windows Vista Ultimate you purchase, they will contribute $50 - $80 to The Global Fund.

Microsoft said late yesterday it was suspending mass download of the long-awaited service pack while it investigates the problem between its point-of-sale app – Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) – and both XP SP3 and Vista SP1.
This is not the first time that XP SP3 has been delayed.
