An Italian commercial television network Mediaset has sued Google over YouTube copyright infringement. Google is already battling Viacom in court over YouTube copyright issue.

Viacom’s lawsuit against YouTube threatens information sharing

Google, owner of YouTube has responded to Viacom’s $1 billion lawsuit saying it threatens the way information is exchanged over internet.
Viacom filed a lawsuit last year alleging Google has failed to keep copyrighted material off its popular video-sharing site.

YouTube bans user for posting his own crime videos

Andrew Kellett, 23, from Leeds UK was banned from YouTube after he posted more than 80 videos of crimes committed by him.
He was also given an interim Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) by Leeds magistrates for a range of offences.

Google Viacom to battle in Supreme Court over YoutTube

Google in a statement has said it is willing to fight Viacom all the way to the Supreme Court in the companies’ legal battle over YouTube and pirated videos.
Viacom is taking a different approach by using a hard line of its own, executives from the companies said Wednesday.
